The JDU's senior leader Sharad Yadav has said that to leaving Grand Alliance Nitish Kumar's uniting with the BJP is a tragedy.

According to sources, Sharad Yadav's closest leaders are indicating that he will be attending the conference with all the opposition leaders in Delhi before the meeting of Janta Dal United National Executive on August 19.
According to sources, 20 other units other than the Bihar unit, will also write to Nitish Kumar and Sharad Yadav.
Through this letter the party's other unit will express its displeasure over the joining hand with BJP by Nitish.
Sharad Yadav had said when Nitish joined hands with BJP, "The situation in Bihar is not good. The eleven crore voters of the state had elected the Grand Alliane. I am unhappy with the breakdown of coalition government. The coalition should not have broken. I am sad about this broken and I am talking to the people of the party. I do not feel right to say anything more than this."
Meanwhile, Janata Dal United General Secretary KC Tyagi says that he hopes that no one will try to harm party or break it. Tyagi said, "Sharad ji is a democratic person and he will not go against party's decisions or people."
According to sources, Sharad Yadav will join the party's national executive meeting, but he will also speak on the coalition with the BJP. The conference with opposition leaders is expected to be in the second week of the same month.
