Bihar Chief Minister and JD (U) President Nitish Kumar has reacted for the first time on the presidential election. He said that if the NDA can not make a consensus on the name of the candidate, then the Opposition can stand its candidate.

However, he said that so far the opposition has not discussed anybody's name. Talking to the media in Patna, Nitish said that BJP should make a consensus on any one name.

He said that Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had called him on this issue. At that time he also insisted on making consensus.
