Nitish had to Inaugurate, 15 hours Earlier the Dam Broke

Look at the good governance of Bihar's so-called good governance Babu that the dam was broken before it was inaugurated by the government.

What could be a matter of great embarrassment that became politician to engineer Nitish Kumar had to inaugurate Nitish, but the dam broke 15 hours earlier, due to which the Nitish government was embarrasment in Bihar.

The breakdown of the dam has resulted in sleepless nights of the administrative officials of the district, all have a stir. No officer is receiving phone from shame.

A senior official of Kahalgaon confirmed this news on condition of anonymity.

According to official sources, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was supposed to inaugurate the dam on Wednesday, but now this program has been postponed.

The dam of the Ganga Pump Canal Scheme has broken just a day before the inauguration on Tuesday evening making from 40 years in Bateshwar Sthan in Bihar's Bhagalpur.

The dam has broken about six feet near Kahlgaon NTPC residential area CISF Quarter. Once the water of the canal started entering the quarters of the soldiers, there was a ruckus.

389.31 crores has been spent on this scheme.

Peerpanti MLA Ramvilas Paswan told that the incident of the breakdown is the result of the engineer and contractor's alliance.

This plan is a plan for lift irrigation status. Under this, Pump House number one has been constructed near the confluence of the Kaua and Ganga river on the banks of river Ganga near Shaikhpura village of Kahalgaon block of Bhagalpur. Next to 1.5 km of the Pimp house number two near the Shivkumari hill. Both of them have to lift the 17 and 27 meters water on two stages and the main canal and distribution system it has to be made available for irrigation.

This scheme will cover irrigation of 18620 hectares of Bhagalpur district and 22658 hectares of land in Godda district of Jharkhand i.e., it will benefit Bihar and Jharkhand.

Initially, the scheme was worth Rs 13.88 crore. In 1977 the Planning Commission gave its approval.
