In the Ramgarh district of Jharkhand, on Thursday, a person was beaten to death on the charge of taking beef.
Police sources said that Alimuddin alias Asghar Ansari was taking 'restricted meat' in a Maruti van.
Sources said that a group of people stopped him in the Bajaratand village and ruthlessly attacked him. His van was handed over to the fire. The policemen rescued him from the crowd and admitted him to the hospital, where he died during treatment.
Additional Director General of Police RK Malik said, "It is a planned killing."
The official said, "A charge sheet was filed against Asghar for abduction and murder of the child."
He said that some people involved in Beef's business conspired to murder him.
According to the official, "the killers have been identified."
This is the second such case in Jharkhand within the last three days. A crowd in Giridih district had beaten the Muslim owner of the house after getting a dead cow outside the house and set fire to the house.
