At Patna's All India Medical Institute (AIIMS), a baby girl died due to lack of treatment.
Not only this, an ambulance was not given to take the body from the hospital, due to which the parents of the girl child were carrying her dead body on their shoulders.
According to the reports of ANI, Lakhisarai couple of Bihar lost their daughter because they did not complete the necessary paperwork, due to which the child could not be treated at the time. The girl child was battling high fever for the past 6 days.
The father says that he had approached the authorities that his condition was very serious and therefore first treatment would be done, he would complete the paper work later, but ignoring his intent, the slip was not cut for treatment, Because of which the baby girl died.
The couple said that no one came forward to help them. Lakhisarai resident Ram Balak and his wife had brought her 9-year-old daughter for treatment in AIIMS.
In this case when Patna AIIMS director Dr. Prabhat Singh was questioned, he said that he is currently unable to fully understand the incident. He said, "I can not understand what happened after all? Nobody knows anything about this incident. how is it possible?''
While questioning the patient's death, the director said, "I doubt that when the baby girl died? Is it not that the patient has gone himself after seeing the long line and died on the way?
In this matter, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has demanded a harsh probe.
