Counting of the bye-elections for the Araria Lok Sabha seat in Bihar and Jehanabad and Bhabhua assembly seats is now over. The result of both the Assembly seats Bhabhua and Jehanabad have come.
In the Jehanabad assembly by-election, the RJD candidate, Sudhey Yadav, has won by almost 35 thousand votes, the BJP has won the Bhabhua seat. BJP candidate Rinki Pandey has won this seat.
On the Araria Lok Sabha seat, RJD's Sarfaraz Alam defeated BJP candidate Pradeep Kumar Singh with 61,788 votes.
These seats were voted for by-election on March 11. On 9 February, the Election Commission had notified the by-elections in these seats due to the demise of Mohammed Taslimuddin, RJD MP from Arariya, Mundraika Singh Yadav, RJD MLA from Jehanabad and Anand Bhushan Pandey, BJP MLA from Bhabua.
