Rape of 8th Student in Chandigarh on 70th Anniversary of Independence, Was Returning Home from School

Once again, questions have been raised about the safety of women in Chandigarh. Here, the incident of rape was allegedly done with a class VIII student, when she was returning home from the school after Independence Day celebrations. The police has registered the case and is investigating further.
