Actor and politician Paresh Rawal said that artists and cricketer did not throw bombs and would prefer to work in Pakistani serials and films.
Rawal said, "Yes, I would prefer to work in Pakistani films and serials. I like all the Pakistani serials like 'Hamsafar', the way they act, story, writing, language .... all this is good. I feel that our shows are boring."
Fawad Khan, the producer of director-producer Karan Johar's film 'A Dil Hai Mushkil', had suffered the rage of political parties before the film's release last year due to the Uri attack. Paresh Rawal was in the discussion due to the recent controversial statement on writer Arundhati Roy in which he said that in front of the stone-throwers in Kashmir, they should be tied on the army jeep.
The actor said that both cinema and cricket end the difference between the two countries.
He said, "Artists and cricketers do not throw bombs. They are not terrorists, but instead they end the distance between the two countries. When the mind is not good then what is the right to raise that issue? It is better that you live with your country."
The actor said that he is not in favor of ban on Pakistani artists.
He said, "There should not be any ban on any person or anything. Pakistani actress has acted in 'Hindi Medium' but nothing happened because the country's mood was good.
