India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed grief over the terrorist attack on Indian soldiers in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, India.
Rajnath Singh wrote on the social media platform X, "I am deeply saddened by the death of our five brave soldiers in a terrorist attack in Badnota, Kathua."
"My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. The country stands firmly with them in this difficult time. Anti-terrorism operations are being carried out and our soldiers are committed to maintaining peace and order in the area."
Rajnath Singh has wished a speedy recovery to those injured in this terrorist attack.
On Monday, July 8, 2024, an Indian Army convoy was attacked in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which five soldiers were killed and five soldiers were injured. Since then a search operation is being carried out in the entire area.
