India Beat Pakistan in First Match of Champions Trophy

The Champions Trophy match between India and Pakistan on Sunday in High voltage in Edgbaston. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. India scored 319 runs losing three wickets.

Pakistan got the first target of 324 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis rule, but when the match was stopped for rain the third time, the target changed to 289 in 41 overs.

Azhar Ali tried to handle Pakistan a lot, but after completing the half-century, he was caught by Ravindra Jadeja. The team's batting was so poor that half the team returned to pavilion on 131 runs.

If you talk about the first innings, India's batting has been very slow in the early overs. Rain broke the match in the 10th over.

However, the match started again without any cuts in the over. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan shared 136 runs for the first wicket. Shikhar Dhawan was caught by 68 runs.

India scored 173 runs in 33.1 overs, losing one wicket and again with this rain started again.

The match started again, but with a cut of 2-2 overs.

Rohit Sharma was playing the best innings, but he was run out on 91 runs. After this, there was a tremendous partnership of 93 runs between captain Kohli (81) and Yuvraj Singh (53).

In the last over, Hardik Pandya scored three consecutive sixes in Imad Wasim, which helped India score 319 runs in 48 overs.

Bowling for Pakistan, Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan could only hit 1-1 wicket. Apart from them, Wahab Riaz was the most expensive bowler to score 87 runs in 8.4 overs.
