The Kerala High Court has upheld the lifelong ban on Sreesanth on the petition of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Because of this, despite being acquitted on spot-fixing charges, Sreesanth can not return on the ground. Now the fast bowler has left India to leave cricket and has decided to play cricket on behalf of another country.

Speaking to Asia Net News, Sreesanth said, "I have been banned by the BCCI, not from the ICC. I am 34 years old and can play cricket for 6 years now. I am trying to play cricket in any aspect."

The bench, comprising Chief Justice Navneet Prasad Singh, said that the court can not make a judicial review on the lifelong ban imposed by the BCCI in India, and therefore accepting the appeal and keeping the restriction on Sreesanth.

It is notable that the Kerala High Court had lifted the lifelong ban on Sreesanth in August.

The Kerala High Court had been hearing the case for the last two days and on Tuesday it ruled its verdict on this matter. Due to this decision, Sreesanth can not play Ranji anymore. Also, he can no longer training at any stadium in India.

Angry over this, Sreesanth wrote on Twitter: "It is the worst decision. Is there any special rule for me? What is the real culprit? What about Chennai Super Kings? And what about Rajasthan?''

Jayesh George, secretary of the Kerala Cricket Association, told the media, Since the lifelong ban on Sreesanth was lifted, the Kerala Union was supporting him ever since.

George said, "We had made many arrangements for his entire fitness, so that he fit for the match. Now we have to honor this decision too."

Significantly, Sreesanth now has the only option that he will appeal against this decision in the Supreme Court.

According to close sources, Sreesanth will appeal against this decision in the Supreme Court.
