On 9th August throughout India, it is celebrated as the Revolution Day because the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi started the 'Quit India Movement' on 9th August 1942 to expel British from India.

Samajvadi Party leaders accused the BJP that Yogi government are closing the ambitious plans of the Samajvadi Party will not be tolerated at any cost. The Samajwadi Party is standing with the poor and the destitute.
