After 25 years of demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, this issue in Uttar Pradesh is once again taking political strife.

With the daily hearing of the Babri case in a special CBI court located in Lucknow, the matter has again been reopened in the main center and the BJP leader is looking for possibilities in the current developments. They believes that in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2019, the BJP will benefit from this.

Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and BJP's provincial President Keshav Prasad Maurya said in the discussion, "The Ayodhya episode is still pending in the court, but it is not a political issue. It is purely a matter of faith and trust."

In the Assembly elections held in March this year, BJP, which has 325 seats in the alliance with allies from 403, believes that Ram Mandir Issue will get public support.

BJP's National Vice-President and Rajya Sabha member Prabhat Jha said, "Every person wants to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya and whenever the court decides on any issue (related to the temple), some heat is born."

He said that we all know that in the Ayodhya Ram temple will eventually become. It is a national issue related to millions of Indians.

Uttar Pradesh BJP Spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said that the impact of the Ram temple issue will definitely take place on the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

He said, "Our party does not consider the Ayodhya episode as a political issue. BJP is the only party which raised this issue and is committed to construct a grand temple in Ayodhya while staying within the ambit of the Constitution.

A day after the special CBI court in Lucknow, hearing the two cases related to the Ayodhya episode, fixed the charges against senior BJP leaders, former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti and 12 accused on May 30, a day after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Worshiping at the temporal Ram temple in Ayodhya.

He stressed that the solution of the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid issue should be with mutual negotiation.

Deputy Chief Minister Maurya also said that it would be the best way to resolve the matter through mutual consent and dialogue.
