BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha appeared in support of Yashwant Sinha today. He said that Yashwant is a true politician and he has shown the mirror to the government.

Shatrughan MP from Bihar has differences on many issues from his party's stand.

Yashwant Sinha has criticized Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for his economic policies in an article published in a newspaper.

Shatrughan criticized BJP leaders who dismissed the views of former Finance Minister and said that doing so would be childish because their (Sinha's) views are entirely in the interest of the party and the nation.

Commenting on the Modi government by tweeting several times, Shatrughan claimed in the context of the comments about Yashwant Sinha's comments that we all know what kind of forces have followed them.

Referring to Narendra Modi, he said that the Prime Minister had recently said that the nation is bigger than any party and the interest of the nation comes first.

Shatrughan tweeted, "I firmly believe that whatever Sinha has written is in the interest of the party and the nation."

He said, "He is a true politician, who has proved himself and who is one of the country's most successful finance ministers. He has shown the mirror about the economic condition of India and has hurt the root of the problem."

Describing Yashwant as a big brother, Shatrughan said that he should be appreciated for coming up with such ideas.

In the tweet, Shatrughan also praised Arun Shourie. Arun Shourie was a associate of Yashwant Sinha in Atal Bihari Vajpayee's Cabinet. Shourie is also a strong critic of the Modi government's policies.

Shatrughan wrote, "Yashwant Sinha and Arun Shourie are very enlightened and experienced intellectuals. He has no ambition, nor is he craving for any post (ministerial post), especially at such a time when less than two years has passed in the next election."

He said that Yashwant's critics should prove him wrong point to point.
