After the attack on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, Biden has appealed to all Americans to unite and condemn such violence.

In a statement issued within an hour of the attack, Biden said, "There is no place in America for violence. We must unite as a nation to condemn it. It is very wrong.''

Biden said, "We cannot allow this to happen. We cannot forgive this.''

Biden said, "Grateful to hear that he (Trump) is safe and healthy. I am praying for him, his family and everyone present at the rally. Jill (Biden's wife) and I are also grateful to the Secret Service for getting him out safely.''

He shared a picture of the aftermath of the attack from his ex account. In this picture, blood is visible on Trump's face and his fist is in the air.
