Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is on a two-day visit to China. Addressing an event in Beijing during the visit, Imran Khan said that he wanted to adopt the policies of Chinese President Xi Xinping.

PM Khan said that just as President Jinping had put corrupt people in jail, he wants to put 500 corrupt people in Pakistan jail.

Speaking at the China Council for Promotion of International Trade, PM Khan said that he has learned from China how to deal with corruption in the country.

PM Khan said, "Xi Jinping has been identified as the President who runs a strong campaign against corruption." I have heard that in the last five years 400 ministers were put in jail convicted of corruption in China.

Imran Khan was referring to President Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign. The campaign was launched by Xi Jinping in 2012. It is said that under this, action was taken against millions of people in the case of corruption in China.

Imran Khan while addressing the council said, "I hope that like President Jinping, I will be able to get 500 corrupt people jailed in Pakistan." Unfortunately in Pakistan this process is quite complicated.

Imran Khan said that corruption is the biggest obstacle in the way of investment in the country.

PM Khan said that Pakistan needs to learn the way China has brought out millions of people from poverty. The Pakistani PM said that in the last 30 years, China has pulled out 700 million people from poverty.

He said that this had never happened in human history.

Imran Khan has visited China for the third time after becoming PM.
