Why did Tibetan protesters appeal to G-20 leaders to talk to China?

Tibetan agitators have taken out a protest procession in Mcleodganj in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, accusing China of allegedly erasing Tibetan culture.

During a demonstration on Saturday, September 9, 2023, the protesters appealed to the world leaders attending the G-20 to talk to China. He said that China is trying to erase Tibetan culture.

Therefore, leaders from all over the world who came to India for the G-20 conference should appeal to China to stop this. The students participating in the protest said that the Chinese government is continuously attacking Tibet's education system. China wants to erase Tibet's culture and identity.

The protesters appealed to the world leaders attending the G-20 conference to stop China from taking such steps.

Tenzin Pasang, national director of Students for Free Tibet (India), told news agency PTI that China is opening colonial-style boarding schools in Tibet.

Here small children of four years of age are being kept separated from their families. They are being forcefully sent to these schools. In this way, by keeping them separated from their families, their language and culture is being destroyed.
