Arun Shourie, who was minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government, attacked an Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an interview. During this he talked on many important issues.

In this interview given to The Wire, he was asked that Narendra Modi is the only leader in the world who follow the Twitter handles who are abusive. Through these handles you and your son, who are suffering from paranoia, were attacked after the interview given to Karan Thapar.

On this, he said that by following them, Modi conveys the message that I am following him. If you follow him, then you are encouraging him.

He also said that I have heard that PM Modi also welcomed him. You also get the same people at PM's official residence. They also put photos with PM Modi. He made one of them the head of BJP's IT cell. Now it has become a government and party operation.

He said that the state government refused to advertise the Rajasthan newspaper's Rajasthan Patrika because he had written something wrong about the central government.

Shourie was asked that Ashish Nandy had written after Narendra Modi's interview in which he had said, I am feeling that I have met a bookish fascist. You also know Modi, have also campaigned for him. Do you agree with them?

On this he said that whatever will stand against Narendra Modi, there will be a flurry of lawsuits like Pradeep Sharma (IAS) and Teesta Setalvad.

He said that Narendra Modi is very quick to get sidelined. For example, look at the Delhi and Bihar elections. Here, Modi left the slogan of development-development and put a stamp of tempting promises. It shows how nervous he is by an election defeat.

Do you think that the RSS has made an agreement with both Narendra Modi and Amit Shah to stay in power?

Shourie said, no, but why do you think that both are different? Modi-Shah encourages the values of RSS every day like his own. This shows that they are in power. You see who has been appointed in the big institutions. Take the example of the Indian Council for Historical Research (ICHR).
