Oversight Committee summons Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle

Sunday, July 14, 2024

The Oversight Committee, the main investigative agency of the US House of Representatives, has summoned Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle.

The Oversight Agency has issued a summons to Kimberly Cheatle to testify at a hearing on July 22, 2024.

In a statement released on social media, the Oversight Committee panel said, "We are demanding answers on the deadly attack on Trump."

Earlier in a news conference, FBI Special Agent Kevin Rojek said, "It is surprising how an attacker was able to openly fire on the stage before being killed by the Secret Service?"

However, when he was asked whether there was any lapse in the security system. He said, "Without a proper investigation, he cannot offer any assessment on this."

The Secret Service was not present during the news conference. At the same time, the FBI is investigating the deadly attack on Trump.

But at the moment most fingers are being raised on the Secret Service.

It is being said about the Secret Service, their only job is to protect the current and former presidents of America and last night they failed miserably in this.

About 43 years before the attack on Trump, an attempt was also made to assassinate the then US President Ronald Reagan. At that time Reagan was shot in the lung but he survived.

Today American politicians and the public want to know how a potential assassin climbed the roof armed with a rifle and how he fired four bullets towards the stage.

The FBI, Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security are involved in the investigation already underway.
