Giving more information about the yatra in New Delhi on Thursday, January 4, 2024, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, "This yatra will remind people about social justice and inflation, unemployment, the plight of farmers and laborers, the growing gap between the rich and the poor. And will create awareness on caste census.
We hope that with this visit the issue of social justice will once again become a national discussion.''
'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra' is starting after one year of Bharat Jodo Yatra.
This time, 55 Congress leaders will accompany Rahul Gandhi in the yatra. Congress is expecting political benefits from this journey starting before the Lok Sabha elections.
Therefore, the Indian state Uttar Pradesh has been given special importance in this. Here Rahul Gandhi will travel 1074 kilometers for 11 days. There are 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.
