On the occasion of Republic Day, there was communal violence in Kasganj. What is the truth of this communal riot? It is important to know. On the occasion of the Republic Day of the country, Muslim had gathered to hoist the Tiranga flag on Veer Abdul Hamid Chowk, Hindus had talked about the way and worse.
This violence was done not only to give way for the trip to Tiranga, because the other party people were chairs on the roads to hoist the tri-color.
Talking to The Indian Express, senior police officer and eyewitnesses of the incident told that the tri-color trips on unauthorized motorcycles reached Baddu Nagar of Kasganj, which later took the form of communal violence. According to a local resident, people rallying on motorcycles asked to remove the chair so that they could get out of there.
The lawyer and local resident Mohammed Munazir Rafi said, "They were putting anti-Muslim slogans. We urged them to let us finish our Republic Day program first, but they remained firm on their point of view and did not get out of there. "
Rafi said, "I had contributed 200 rupees to celebrate the Republic Day on its own. I went out of the house to Kasganj Court in the morning, where the tricolor hoist was organized. When I came back, people in our local area were chairs for the Republic Day program. In the meantime, suddenly a group of 50-60 people reached there on the bike and started asking for the removal of the chair.
Rafi said, "We asked them to join the program, but they refused. Many people gathered there and there was a punch. After this they took their bike and left the place. I called Kasganj Police and gave them information about the incident. A similar rally was held on the Independence Day last year, but nothing like that happened at that time. We are patriots, but now we are being displayed like a treason."
According to Kasganj Additional SP Partha Mohan Tripathi, the police had separated the two sides. They said, the bike riders again gathered in one place and started to revolve around the tehsil road. The people of another Muslim-dominated area thought that they were turning round in the spirit of retaliation. This is where violence started, in which a young man of 28 years lost his life due to the bullet.
Speaking on this matter, IGP Dhruv Kant Thakur said, "At that time the people of Muslim community were supposed to hoist the tricolor at that time."
Explain that a video of this incident has also surfaced, where a group of about 60 people were screaming for the tricolor and saffron flag in hand that "the bike will go from here".
