Monday, July 8, 2024
India's opposition leader Rahul Gandhi discussed the situation in Manipur while holding a press conference during his visit to Manipur.
Rahul Gandhi said, "This is the third time I have come here after the situation worsened in Manipur. To be honest, I was hoping that there would have been some improvement in the ground conditions. But I am disappointed to see that there is still no improvement in the situation and it is not even close to being correct.''
Rahul Gandhi said, "I went to the camps and met the people and listened to their pain and suffering. I have come here to listen to those people and to assure them that there is someone in the opposition who will put pressure on the government to do something for them.''
Rahul Gandhi said, "I want to tell all the people of Manipur that I have come here as your brother. I have come here as a person who wants to help you.''
