A big train incident occurred in the evening of Saturday (August 19th) in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Kalinga-Utkal Express crashed near Muzaffarnagar's Khatauli.
At around six o'clock in the evening, 14 coaches of the train were derailed. Apart from this, many coaches have also climbed over other coaches.
The train was going to Haridwar from Puri. So far 23 people have died in the accident, while more than 100 passengers are reported to be seriously injured.
The train was to reach Haridwar at 9 o'clock. So far, the Railways have not provided any information about how the accident happened.
However, terror attack is also being investigated in the crash. Meanwhile, relief and rescue work has been started.
Currently, efforts are being made to help the injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. The number of wounded can increase further.
