The UAE will accept applications for renewal of expired Visa and ID cards from July 12.
The cabinet has made important decisions regarding extending the validity of expired visa, Emirates ID card and entry permit. The UAE has taken the crucial decision after relaxing the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of corona virus infection. On Friday, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) said that this decision suggests that we are returning to normal days.
ICA said, "In many sectors, efforts are being made to bring business and work back on track like normal days".
In the early months of the corona virus epidemic, the UAE extended the validity of residential visas, entry and residency permits due to lockdowns and travel bans.
The ICA said on Saturday that Visa, entry permit and ID card service were going to resume. From July 12, people can start applying by depositing its fee.
The ICA said on Saturday, "All migrant residents, UAE citizens and people of the GCC countries are urged to get their invalid documents valid."
