On the sidelines of the G-7 meeting in France, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump met.

The issue has been in the news after Jammu and Kashmir's special status was removed under Article 370, and Trump had several times offered mediation between India and Pakistan.

There was once a bit of unease between India and the US from the statement that the arbitration was offered, but when the two leaders met, there was an ease in the mutual relationship.

When the two leaders met, Modi made it clear that India would resolve all issues with Pakistan and no third party would have to mediate. US President Trump also agreed with Modi.

Muchkund Dubey, a former foreign secretary of India and an ambassador to several countries, says that Trump had not said what he had previously said about arbitration, and as he says something first and then retracts , It was the same thing '.

Trump had called for mediation after meeting Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who went to the US soon after India's decision on Jammu and Kashmir.

Professor Muktadar Khan of the University of Delaware, USA said that the Trump administration has no concrete strategy for South Asia, which is why he said such a thing.

According to Muktadar Khan, "When Trump meets Modi, he is so impressed that he is confident that the issue of Kashmir will be resolved by both countries with mutual understanding."

But talking about Kashmir during the summit of an international forum has become somewhat like internationalizing the issue.

Muchkund Dubey says, "It is a phenomenal thing for a top leader from India to go to the international stage and clean up the domestic steps taken on Jammu and Kashmir. It has never happened before and when a nation is in great difficulty That's when he takes such steps. ''

He says, "This issue is slowly getting complicated and may have to be clarified in the future. It would have been better if we had dealt with the matter with our understanding, rather than calling upon other countries or cleaning them on our initiative To give. Because those countries would suggest India to change its policy and not necessarily be in the interest of India.

On the other hand, Pakistan has been continuously trying to maintain the issue of Kashmir as an international issue. He says that he will raise this issue on every international platform.

In such a situation, India will also be forced to present a cleanliness on this issue.

Muchkund Dubey says that India has created the conditions of cleaning up the international world on this issue.

He says, "Until recently, it was not enough for India to give any clarification on this issue, but since the decision taken by India in Jammu and Kashmir, the situation has completely changed."

He says that 'the issue was not raised for 20-20 years in the history of the UN Security Council. So it is deeply connected to our internal policy, it is not a forgetting thing. '

Conditions in Kashmir of India have been bad for almost 22 days, communication system is at a standstill and there is a curfew-like situation.

In this case, this issue is affecting not only India's foreign policy but also internal policy.

Muchkund Dubey says that ‘Kashmiris had decided to join India on the basis that India is a democratic and secular country. Now if it is being discussed, then it becomes a matter related to internal policy. '

He says, "The matter may become more complex and macabre in the coming times and in such a situation we will be forced to allow the issue to be internationalized. This visit of Prime Minister Modi is the first step in that direction." '

According to him, never before had an opportunity to present his cleanliness to India by going to the summit of any international organization.

He says "10 years ago, the way India was trying to resolve the matter, India could go further in this matter because it seemed that there was no need to change the boundary. It is a There was a basis on which India could move forward.

"But now that the border has been abolished and to say that now this bilateral issue has been resolved. If this is the case then how are we cleaning everyone and saying that this is a bilateral issue."

Muktadar Khan says, "After decades, this issue arose in the UN Security Council and became a subject of considerable discussion in the media, and India got a diplomatic setback."

Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he will go to any extent for Kashmir.

Says Muktadar Khan, "Despite Pakistan's millions of efforts in the last 40-50 years, the issue of Kashmir did not become an international issue like Kurdistan or Tibet. While it raised the issue on the UN and OIC forums whenever the opportunity arose." But for the first time, there is a lot of coverage in the media on this issue in the West.

He says, "In a way one can say that Pakistan's issue of internationalization has moved forward but that happened because the Indian government took a big step towards Kashmir."

Muktadar Khan says that even though India is saying in international forums that mutual issues will be resolved bilaterally, but on Kashmir issue it has completely reversed.

He says, "India has taken a unilateral decision in the matter of Jammu and Kashmir without asking the people there, without talking to Pakistan, and at the same time there is talk of resolving matters through bilateral talks."

According to him, if India continues to act in Kashmir, if it continues to do the same, then civil society started raising issues like Palestine in the world. The other aspect of this is that if the Kashmiri people feel that the demonstrations are increasing India's infamy, then they will increase it further.

Professor Muktadar Khan says that India should create such good conditions in Kashmir that the people there want to join India happily.

But from the circumstances that have formed in recent times, it seems that the echo of this decision will be heard for a long time to come.
