Three years in jail or Rs 40 lakh fine for not wearing masks in Qatar

Wearing masks has been made mandatory in Qatar and breaking the rules can lead to up to three years in jail or a fine of $ 55,000, or about Rs 42 lakh.

According to the per capita infection, Qatar is among the most serious countries in the world.

30,000 people have been found infected in Qatar with a population of 3 million.

Qatar is a small but wealthy country in the Middle East which is counted among the countries with the highest per capita income in the world.

There are mosques, schools, colleges, malls etc. closed but the building construction is not banned as Qatar is to host the Football World Cup in 2022.
