Prior to the Gujarat Legislative Assembly election, Hardik Patel's ally Patidar leader alleged in front of the media that BJP wanted to buy them for one crore rupees and they were given 10 lakh rupees as advance.
Narinder Patel, Convenor of Patidar Amant Committee, joined the BJP in front of Varun Patel, Hardic Patel's ex-associate, on Sunday (October 22). Varun Patel also joined BJP on Sunday.
Narendra Patel alleged that BJP had promised to give him one crore rupees after joining him through Varun Patel.
According to the NDTV report, Varun Patel has denied these allegations.
Elections will be held before December 18 in Gujarat because the Election Commission has already announced the date (December 18) of the results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assembly elections.
Narendra Patel told the media, "Varun Patel has given me a deal worth Rs one crore with BJP. He gave me 10 lakhs advances. The remaining 90 lakhs rupees were supposed to give me tomorrow, but if they give me the entire Reserve Bank then they will not be able to buy me.''
Narendra Patel also presented the bundle of notes in front of the media which he allegedly got as Advance.
Narendra Patel claimed that he had to get Advance rupees so that he could expose Varun Patel and BJP in front of the media.
Varun Patel and his companion Reshma Patel had joined BJP Sunday morning. Both were leaders of the Patidar movement. While joining BJP, the two leaders alleged that Hardik Patel has met Congress.
After Narendra Patel's allegations, Varun Patel said that the allegations are being imposed on the Congress say.
The demand for reservations for the Patidars under the leadership of Hardik Patel took a fierce form. It is believed that instead of Narendra Modi becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat there was a great reason for not being able to control the Patidar movement in going to Aanandi Ben Patel's chair. Instead of Aanandi Ben, the existing CM of Gujarat Vijay Rupani took it.
