In India, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has put forward three key demands from the party regarding the election process.
On Monday, Mallikarjun Kharge stated that these three demands are "non-negotiable" for the Congress.
Writing on the social media platform X, he said, "The Congress party's three demands are non-negotiable. First, the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar. Second, the cancellation of the SIR. Third, conducting elections using ballot papers."
"Congress workers and INDIA alliance partners across the country are taking to the streets over these three issues. We stand with the civil society members and youth organizations that are struggling for these causes in various parts of the country."
Kharge wrote, "Meanwhile, the harassment of women journalists by the BJP in Delhi is highly condemnable. The dictator is extremely rattled; be prepared for yet another episode of distraction."
The NSUI, the student wing of the Congress, has called for a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Monday.
