Thousands of Indians are going to grow hard by a fresh decision of the Saudi Arabian government. The Saudi Arabian government is going to impose 'dependent tax' on migrants living in the country from July 1. Under this, citizens of other countries living with family in Saudi Arabia will have to pay 100 Saudi Riyal (about Rs. 1700) per dependent tax in the form of tax.

According to a report, about 41 lakh Indians live in Saudi Arabia. The number of Indians living in Saudi Arabia is the highest in migrants.

Some migrants have said in the media that after this tax, they will send their family back to Hindustan. Mohamad Tahir, a migrant living in Saudi Arabia, told the Times of India newspaper that he could not bear the burden of this tax and he would send his family back to Hyderabad. Tahir told the newspaper that many more of his knowing are taking similar steps. Mohammad Tahir is a computer engineer. Another Indian migrant said that the Saudi Arab government wants that be a migrant unmarried.

The Saudi Arabian government gives family visas to migrant workers with more than five thousand riyals (about 86 thousand rupees). If a family with five thousand riyals has a wife and two children apart from a husband, then he will have to pay 300 riyals (about 5 thousand rupees) every month to the Saudi government in the form of tax. According to the report, the Saudi government will continue to increase the tax by 2020 every year.

According to the Saudi government's order, all migrant families will have to pay advance tax of this tax. That is, the family in which the three dependents his parents will have to pay 300 riyals in advance.

So far, the Indian Foreign Ministry has not made any statement about this tax imposed by the Saudi Arabian government.

During the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the relationship between India and Saudi Arabia has become much better. Last year, the Indian PM went on a two-day tour of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Arab government has also given its highest civilian honor to PM Modi. In such a situation, the tax breaks the waist of Indian workers is likely to sour relations between the two countries.
