Syria forces launch assault on rebel-held Douma
07 Apr 2018 ( IBTN News Bureau )At least 40 civilians, including eight children, have been killed in Syrian government air raids on the rebel-held city of Douma.
The raids ended a ceasefire that had been in place for almost two weeks.
The government defended the shelling of Douma, saying it was in response to rebels killing civilians in neighbouring Damascus.
Al Jazeera's Charlotte Bellis reports.
