A Delhi court has sentenced the famous anchor Suhaib Ilyasi to life imprisonment. Iliasi was convicted by the court on December 16 for killing his wife Anju. In the world of television, one of the best crime shows ever hosted by India's Most Wanted, producer Suhaib Ilyasi was accused of killing his wife in 2000.

On January 11, 2000, Suhaib Ilyasi's wife Anju Ilyasi was admitted to Delhi's hospital, but she could not survive. Knives were laid on her body in many places. Then the police considered it a suicide case. At that time Anju was 30 years old.

A few months later, Anju's mother and sister requested the sub-divisional magistrate to investigate the case. These people had alleged that Suhaib Ilyasi has provoked Anju to commit suicide. Subsequently, Suhaib Ilyasi was arrested for torturing his wife and demanding dowry. Suhayb is also accused of instigating his wife for murder.

Later, when Anju's autopsy report came in, it was revealed that no one could commit suicide by adopting a knife in this way. This can be a murder case.

The turning point in this case came many years later, when Anju's mother asked for the trial court to order Suhaib Ilyasi to be trial for murder. Then the trial court rejected the demand of Anju's mother. Later, the Delhi High Court ordered the Karkardooma court in 2014 that Suhaib Ilyasi's trial should also be conducted in the case of murder.
