Seeing the opportunity to learn a lot in life is also available to the elder people. I will talk about two photographs in this article. The first picture is from the last year when the mother of Bhupesh Baghel, the current Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, died.
His mother's condolence meeting was held at Bhilai 3, home of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, where I had arrived from Delhi to attend. Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi also came with his family members. My relations are with both the families.
I saw the two leaders there respecting each other immensely. I observed Jogi very closely while talking to the Chief Minister in a very emotional way regarding his mother. I was sitting very close to the Chief Minister. Seeing the affection, immense respect and reverence of each other for both the leaders, it was our Indian culture and civilization.
The leaders of various parties, activists and media personnel present there were watching the attitude of both the leaders by staring. Since both have been considered opposite of each other in the politics of Chhattisgarh, but Jogi and Bhupesh's respect for each other, feeling, style and dialogue gave a new direction to the current Indian politics.
Three days ago (29 May 2020) former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi died. The entire Chhattisgarh came to a standstill. I got the information about Jogi's death but due to the lockdown it was not possible to go from Delhi to Raipur.
Meanwhile, I saw a picture of the tribute paid to Jogi by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on social media. Looking at the said picture and the facial expressions of the Chief Minister, it seemed that big people are very big. Bhupesh spoke very passionately while paying tribute to Jogi. His words were a saga of unbreakable relationships and trust.
The words uttered by Bhupesh Baghel were heart touching. I read the words of Bhupesh issued by the Chief Minister's Office several times in tribute to Jogi. One by one words were reflecting each other's relationship and attachment.
I have presented both these things specifically so that the new generation takes inspiration and understands the subsistence of relationships in politics.
There can be disagreement with any party, leader and ideology in politics. Sometimes there is a distance by staying in the same party and sometimes there are different paths, different parties and different views, yet personal relationships remain intact.
I had seen my mentor, ideal and leader, former Prime Minister of India, Chandrashekhar doing so many times, he was known only for the continuance of relationships.
Today the level of politics is falling. In such a situation, the leaders, activists, supporters of all parties should prioritize the maintenance of personal relationships despite political disagreements.
I gave the example of Bhupesh Baghel and Ajit Jogi so that our younger generation can imbibe the working style of these two leaders.
