South Africa: Gold miners reach deal over lung disease
04 May 2018 ( IBTN News Bureau )Gold mining companies in South Africa have agreed to a $400m settlement to compensate thousands of miners.
Since the 1970s, thousands of cases of silicosis - a fatal lung disease - have been recorded among black gold miners.
Al Jazeera's Malcolm Webb met some of them.
