Former prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and his family's property has been seized in the charges of corruption and money laundering.

Pakistan's top anti-corruption body today (September 22) took action in the corruption and seized property of Sharif and his family. 67-year-old Sharif was dismissed from Prime Minister post by the Supreme Court on 28 July. The Supreme Court was blaming him in the Panama Paper case and ordered to execute corruption cases on Sharif and his family.

The Pakistan's Liability Court hearing the case of corruption against Sharif has called on Sharif, his daughter Mariam and son-in-law Safdar to appear on September 26.

Officials of the National Accountability Bureau came to Sharif's Raivinda home and showed the summons and attachment order of the court and seized the property of the Sharif family.

Tell that Nawaz Sharif is in London with his children these days, where his wife Kulasum is undergoing treatment.

There is also talk in Pakistan that Nawaz Sharif and his family may not have returned to Pakistan to defend the lawsuits related to corruption.

However, the ruling PML (N) says that when Sharif's wife will recover a little bit, then Sharif will return.

Here, the officials of the National Accountability Bureau have written to State Bank of Pakistan and other commercial banks asking to monitor the bank accounts of Nawaz Sharif and his family.
