Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdul Aziz-al-Saud has declared his son Mohammed bin Salman as the successor to oust his nephew on Wednesday (June 21, 2017). After declaring son as successor, all the powers of 57 year old nephew Mohammad bin Nayef have been snatched.

According to Saudi's Royal News Agency, Mohammed bin Salman has also been asked to take over the post of the Deputy Prime Minister with the post of Defense Ministry. At the age of 81, Salman made Saudi King, in two year long upheaval period, the preparation of making a prince of Mohammed bin Salman was to be seen because all the powers of Prince Nayef were gradually being siphoned off. Now with the prince's title being snatched, he has also been stripped of the position of the most powerful internal security minister of the country.
