Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry has said that in the coming days when the Haj pilgrimage will be organized, those going to the holy sites without a permit will be fined ten thousand Saudi riyals i.e. US $ 2666.
Saudi Arabia has reduced the number of people coming to Saudi Arabia for Haj pilgrimage this year due to the Corona virus.
The statement issued by the Saudi Interior Ministry states that the ban will last from July 19 (Dhul Qadah) to August 2 (Dhul Hijjah).
If caught in violation of this ban for the second time, the fine will be doubled i.e. 2000 Saudi Riyals and 5332 US Dollars.
The Saudi Press Agency has published the statement of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of Saudi Arabia.
The statement of the Ministry of Home Affairs says - "An official source of the Ministry of Home Affairs has asked all citizens and residents to follow the rules during the upcoming religious visits. He has emphasized that during Hajj, security personnel will be deployed on all roads and roads leading to the holy sites to prevent violation of the rules.
Saudi Arabian administrators say that due to the corona virus they have decided to increase the number of Hajj to about ten thousand.
For people living outside Saudi Arabia, the deadline for performing Haj this year ended on Friday.
According to Islamic beliefs, Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and every physically competent Muslim should perform Hajj once in their life. Last year 2.5 million people traveled to Mecca and Medina.
