Violence on January 1 in Bhima-Koregaon, near Pune, has now spread throughout Maharashtra. A case has been registered against two Hindu leaders on Tuesday for spreading violence in Maharashtra. A case has been registered against Shiva Pratishthan of the state, well known leader of India Sambhaji Bhide and Milind Ekbote of Smast Hindu Aadhadi. The 85-year-old Bhide is accused of spreading violence during the 200th anniversary of the battle of Bhima-Koregaon.
Sambhaji Bhide is a well known leader of Maharashtra. The big part of the youth of the state accepts Bhide and Ekbote very much. Bhide is resident of Sangli, while Ekbote is a resident of Pune.
On Tuesday, the Dalit leader and Bharatiya Republican Party Bahujan Mahasangh President Prakash Ambedkar accused the two Hindu leaders of instigating violence. Based on the complaint of Bahujan Republican Party member and social worker Anita Ravindra Salve, FIR was lodged against both Hindutva leaders.
Since the complaint against Bhide has been a member of the RSS, this issue has been in the discussion on social media. Who does not know the name of Bhide in Maharashtra? Not only in Maharashtra but Delhi has the reach of Bhide. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also praises Sambhaji Bhide. The Shiva Pratishthan of Bhide works for the benefit of poor and needy people in India and he is also known among his supporters by the name of Guruji.
PM Modi had gone to Maharashtra once during the 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign and he also met Sambhaji personally. Apart from this, he also praised them very much. PM Modi had said that he met Guruji, not on his prayers but on his order.
Addressing a rally in Sangli, the PM had said that Bhide is ideal for him. He said, "I am very grateful to Bhide Guruji, because he did not invite me but he had ordered me."
In addition to PM Modi, Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray has also been seen taking blessings from Bhide. Bhide admits Chhatrapati Shivaji a lot. A few days ago news came that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had also met Bhide.
