Samajwadi Party spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said that in many places, EVM machines have a problem of malfunction.
The Samajwadi Party says that the Election Commission has the responsibility to conduct fair elections, so the EC interferes with it.
Rajendra Chaudhary has demanded postponement of elections from the Election Commission. While accusing BJP, the Samajwadi Party has appealed to the Election Commission to declare the date of reinstatement.
Rajendra Chaudhary said that EVM has been disturbed at 140 polling booths of 305 polling booths in Noorpur assembly by-election. At 130 polling booths in Kairana, EVMs have been disturbed. The Government's intention is that voters can not use their votes, the Samajwadi Party has complained it to the Election Commission and the list of all polling booths has been sent to the Commission.
On the other hand, RLD candidate from Kairana Lok Sabha constituency, Tabassum Hassan has also expressed the fear in disturbances in EVMs. After casting her vote, she accused the BJP on the issue of EVMs and said that coming the complaints of the disturbances in EVMs in Muslim and Dalit dominated areas and they have not been changed.
At the same time, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has also tweeted a question on EVM machine disturbances. He has written in his tweet that news of EVM machine being spoiled from place by place in the by-election, but definitely go for their vote and do their duty.
