Rebels in southern Syria reach deal to end violence
07 Jul 2018 ( IBTN News Bureau )The Syrian government is back in control of southern Deraa province after it reached a ceasefire deal with rebels.
This ends more than two weeks of fighting that forced 330,000 people to flee - many to the border with Jordan.
The deal was brokered by Russia, which has been supporting the Syrian government.
Al Jazeera's Bernard Smith reports from the Jordan-Syria border.
