RLD and Samajwadi Party had submitted a complaint letter to the Election Commission regarding the disturbances in the EVMs in Kairana of Uttar Pradesh during the bye-elections, which is now being reported that there can be re-election on 73 booths here. For this, the District Election Officer has sent the recommendation and the EC will make a final decision about this.
Explain that after the demand for re-election by all the parties, the State Election Commission had sought a report from DM of Shamli district. The Shamli district magistrate has recommended the re-election of the State Election Commission to those booths, which were obstructing more than 2 hours due to the failure of the VVPAT at booths.
Now the State Election Commission will send this recommendation to the Central Election Commission. However, the final decision on the re-election is to be taken by the Central Election Commission.
It is noteworthy that after the start of polling in Kairana and Noorpur, one of the many EVMs got complaints due to failure of voting due to the failure of the EVMs. After this, SP and RLD, accusing them of not using the franchise of people on the BJP, labeled it a big conspiracy.
Although the Central Election Commission says there was no disturbance in the EVM. VVPAT received a complaint of malfunction.
