Former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court and Chief of the Sachar Committee, retired Justice Rajendra Sachar has expressed a doubt in the interview given to a website that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will declare India a Hindu Nation in 2019.
In response to a question related to the growing issue of violence against Muslims in India in the last few years, Justice Sachar said, "There have been cases of violence born of hatred against Muslims and this is not just a case of intolerance. This is a bad thing from intolerance. The truth is that after the BJP's victory in Uttar Pradesh this threat has increased. "
In the interview given to Rediff.com, Justice Sachar said, "The most dangerous indication Yogi Aditya Nath is to be made CM of Uttar Pradesh. This is part of the RSS's thoughtful plan. We should not forget that Narendra Modi is the only face. "
Justice Sachar said, "The RSS has decided that after the return of the BJP to power in 2019, he will declare India a Hindu Nation. I think the opposition parties are not able to detect this danger. "
Justice Sachar said that before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Yogi Aditya Nath should be carefully read the indications of making the Chief Minister.
Sachar said that all Hindus have nothing to do with the RSS. Hindus have different cultures, traditions and eating habits.
According to Justice Sachar, the RSS has become more powerful than ever after the victory in Uttar Pradesh.
When the RSS tries to declare India a Hindu Nation, what will be the consequences? On this Justice Sachar said that the RSS will not be able to succeed in this cause because many Hindus will oppose it and it will be the biggest difficulty in its path.
He said, "Even today fewer people speak openly about this, but many people do not want the Hindu nation."
Justice Sachar said that BJP's partner Akali Dal would also not want that India be declared a Hindu Nation. Not only Muslims but also Sikhs and Christians will oppose it. Justice Sachar said that to avoid the danger of 2019, he would recommend that all the opposition parties should come together.
