Rana Ayyub said that Amit Shah was a shared link in all sting operations. He was the Home Minister of Gujarat at that time and is now the BJP President. Amit Shah had to go to jail even in the Sohrabuddin encounter case. He was acquitted by the CBI court in 2014.

Ayyub asked then chief of CID (Intelligence) G. Raeghar, "What happened in the encounter. You were there.''
She told that the reply of Raighar was, "I was only in one. A criminal (Sohrabuddin) was killed in fake encounter. It was a mistake that they killed his wife too."
