Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). They alleged that organizations affiliated with BJP and RSS discriminated with women.
In an event organized in Akota, Gujarat, Rahul Gandhi said, "The main organization of them (BJP) is RSS. How many women are in RSS? Have you ever seen women in the shorts in branch? I did not see it."
The Congress leader alleged that BJP is favored for women to remain silent.
Rahul said, "His thinking is that till the woman remains silent, do not say anything, till then the woman is fine. As soon as the woman opened her mouth, make her silent."
Rahul, who is touring the state before the upcoming assembly elections, said that if his party comes to power, he will focus on empowering women.
Rahul said, "Our focus will also be on education, health system. Did PM Narendra Modi talk to you and want to know what you want."
Let tell that Rahul has been quite aggressive against BJP and RSS for the past. Rahul has been alleging that BJP ideology is going to divide the country. He also says that Modi government is working not for the poor but for the benefit of industrialists.
