Vice President Rahul Gandhi, who led the Congress for the Gujarat elections, on Tuesday once again attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government through Twitter.
Rahul Gandhi on the Modi Government, targeting the GST with the villain Gaber's Famous Dialogue 'Ye Hath Me De De Thaqur' on Sholay's film, said, "Give me these earnings".
The Congress Vice President tweeted, "Congress GST = Genuine Simple Tax. Modi's GST = Gabbar Singh Tax = Give me these earnings.
Even before this, Rahul Gandhi had termed GST as "Gabbar Singh Tax" in the Navsarjan Gujarat Mandate rally in Gandhinagar on Monday. Rahul says that the Modi government has come with which GST is the real meaning of 'Gabbar Singh Tax', whose main goal is to take the income of the public, but the Congress's GST meant 'Genuine Simple Tax'.
On Rahul Gandhi's tweet, people gave their reactions, saying, "Tax is one and slabs four? It is very unfair.''
Rahul also ridiculed PM Modi over the notes ban. The ban was announced on November 8 last year.
He said, "What happened on November 8, do not know, Modi said that I do not like the notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000, so they will become junk by 12 o'clock tonight. Ha ha ha.''
Rahul said that for the first two-three days, the Prime Minister did not understand what happened. The Prime Minister felt his mistake after five to six days.
Congress vice-president said that Narendra Modi ruined the entire economy of the country.
