Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is studying Hindu religious texts nowadays. Rahul Gandhi told Sunday (June 4th) that he was studying Bhagavad Gita and Upanishad.
While addressing Congress workers in Chennai, Rahul said, "Nowadays I read Upanishad and Geeta because I am fighting RSS and BJP."
According to information from Congress sources, Rahul, while referring to RSS, said, "I ask him, (from the RSS) my friends do you do this, tease people, but you say that all people are equal, how can you refute the thing written in your own religion?
On Sunday, Rahul Gandhi congratulated DMK chief Karunanidhi on his 94th birthday.
On Sunday, Rahul Gandhi held a rally in Guntur with former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav, JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav and CPI's D Raja.
He alleged that BJP does not understand India, the BJP just understand Nagpur 'RSS's headquater'.
Rahul Gandhi also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the people of BJP understand that all knowledge of the world emanates from PM Modi.
Earlier, Rahul, who has been accused of imposing his ideology on BJP-RSS, said that every person in the country, whether from Tamil Nadu or Uttar Pradesh, has the right to protest, if he considers himself a victim.
Rahul said that forcibly imposing any ideology is not acceptable.
In Chennai, Rahul Gandhi praised Tamil art, culture and literature. Rahul said that he has decided that he will now watch Tamil films and read about Tamil literature.
Rahul told Congress workers, "I sent an SMS to my sister and said that I like coming to Tamil Nadu, I do not know, but I feel connected to the people here."
