Primary-secondary schools will not open in Kenya before 2021

The Central Board of Secondary Education of India has announced to reduce the syllabus of class IX to XII. Under this, the students of the session 2020-21 will get relief.

But on Tuesday only one country in the world has announced the closure of all primary and secondary schools by the end of this year. The education ministry of the African country Kenya said that all the primary and secondary schools in the country will now open next year.

Kenya's Ministry of Education said that all students must start a class in the same class they are in this year. Kenya Education Minister George Magoha said that primary and secondary schools will not have annual examinations this year. Every year these exams are held in October and November.

In Kenya, the first case of corona virus infection was reported in March, since then all the primary and secondary schools there are closed. However, under strict guidelines for security, preparations are on to open colleges and universities in the whole of Kenya from September.
