PRI falls as new party rises in Mexico
09 Jul 2018 ( IBTN News Bureau )There is a new political force in Mexico - not just President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, but the four-year-old National Regeneration Movement (MORENA) party that he has built around himself.
It now holds the majority, with its allies, in the Chamber and Senate. But as one power rises, another long-standing power has fallen.
Al Jazeera's John Holman reports from Atlacomulco, Mexico.
