Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen has warned about the attack on Taiwan. Tsai Ing-wen said that an attack or attempt to attack would have to pay a heavy price and would be condemned by the international community.

"We have to let the enemy understand that Taiwan has the determination and preparedness to defend the country," President Tsai Ing-wen told military officials. At the same time, Taiwan also has the ability to defend itself.

China is furious after US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan. Tensions in Taiwan have peaked since this visit. However, in the last 25 years, no person of such a high status from America had visited Taiwan.

China called the visit a "serious violation of its national sovereignty" and called it a challenge to the "One China Policy".

Meanwhile, the US has described China's military activity near Taiwan as "provocative action" and alleged that it was creating a threat situation in the region.

On the other hand, China has asked America not to 'play with fire'.

China sees Taiwan as a separate province that is set to merge with the country's mainland.

But on the other hand, Taiwan presents itself as an independent country. It has a democratic government, but Taiwan has never officially declared itself an independent nation.
