Philippines seeks probe into boat sinking by Chinese vessel
16 Jun 2019 ( IBTN News Bureau )Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has demanded an investigation into the sinking of a boat by a Chinese fishing vessel.
The incident left 22 Filipino fishermen floating at sea before they were rescued by a Vietnamese boat.
It is the latest confrontation between Manila and Beijing over the disputed South China Sea.
Al Jazeera's Jamela Alindogan reports from the home of the fishermen in Mindoro in the central Philippines.
