The Olympic Games, which were going on in Paris, the capital of France since 26 July 2024, concluded on Sunday, 11 August 2024.

India had no competition on the last day of the Olympics. India's medal count stood at 6 with one silver and five bronze medals in this Olympics.

India has been ranked 71st.

In the Tokyo Olympics 2020 held three years ago, India was ranked 48th in the medal table with seven medals (one of which was gold).

The US tops the medal table of the Paris Olympics with 126 medals (40 gold, 44 silver and 42 bronze), while China is second with 91 medals (40 gold, 27 silver and 24 bronze).

Japan is in third place with a total of 45 medals including 20 gold medals. There are about 114 countries that have not received any medal.

According to the Paris Olympics website, Zhang Yufei has won these medals in swimming. Zhang Yufei has got 5 bronze and 1 silver medal.

In second place is Leon Marchand of France. He has got 5 medals. Leon is also a swimmer. He got 4 gold and 1 bronze medal.
